  1. Have a look at National Mouse Club website.

    http://www.nationalmouseclub.co.uk/home....

Some of the breeders have their own websites and there are links to them on the NMC website

Where on EARTH has the idea come from that it's illegal in the UK to breed or buy mice for feeding reptiles. No-one in UK would keep reptiles would they!

It is illegal (and cruel) to feed LIVE mammals to reptiles; they must be dead first.

    .

  2. depending where you live try independent pet shops as most are family run and they spend more time handling the pets to ensure they are friendly, some of the larger stores as witnessed by my self and others tend to use plastic cups to clean the rodents out and when asked the staff say its because they are not tame,

  3. Pets at home dont sell them, but try a smaller local pet shop, they often sell them

  4. theres the obvious ones like pets at home or local pet shops, personally i would go to a local pet shop as they will be half the price you pay at pets at home and probably looked after better.

  5. Most pet shops in the Uk won't sell mice anymore because people will buy them as feeder foods for reptiles, even though its illegal in the UK and can even carry a fine or jail sentence if prosecuted.  However the most likely place to find them, is in an actual Reptile shop as they tend to supply a wider range of animals than the usual bread and butter mammals like rabbits, gps and Hamsters

  6. I believe both the RSPCA and Wood Green Animal Shelters have mice available (or at least do so fairly regularly).

check out the websites to see what is available / find your nearest shelter...

    You can also look on:

(there are mice listed on here)

  7. awwww thats so sad

  8. try petwebsites or petshops they will have tthem

  9. Pet Depot, Pet Co?

  10. Try comet / pc world

  11. Pets At Home doesn't sell them- we sell rats and gerbils, very similar, but not mice, because people may use them for feeder food, which is against the law but also against PAH rules.

    I work there.

But you should be able to find a fairly local pet shop that does.

One near where I am does, it's called 'Porton Garden and Aquatic Centre', it's near Salisbury, but that may not be local to you.

I've never cleaned out animals with a paper cup and I work in a chain store, so don't assume every store does this.

It's YOUR job to get the animals tame- they're your pets! That's part of the fun of having an animal, getting them tame, so why should people in the pet shop do it?

  12. Try 'PETS AT HOME'. Thats where i got mine from.

    Good luck!

  13. A few weeks ago i went to The All in one garden center in middleton and they were selling them.
