I am living in vancouver bc canada, and I want to buy some roman candles . Can anyone tell me where i can get some?

  1. No where if you are under 18. You have to be 18 to buy, possess or use.

    The rules are set by each municipality and most prohibit it. Generally, if you can't buy it someplace, you can't use them there either. Here is last year's list - and it is a dying breed, so I can't guarantee some of these haven't dropped out too.

    Langley City (But Not Langley Township)

    Port Moody

    North Vancouver District (But Not the City of North Vancouver)

    West Vancouver

    I would call ahead to the specific Municipal Hall and ask before driving across town to buy.

    Similarly to Municipal rights to make rules, Aboriginal Reserves are separate jurisdictions that also can make rules. They tend to be less restrictive on these things. They are small populations, and if a few local entrepreneurs make a significant amount selling to the whole city, that's votes they'd lose if they changed the rules. So, bottom line, you may want to check there too. Like Park Royal or Tsawwassen. Also, you can call the Band Office and ask before heading out too.
