What sorts of weevils are you seeking?

For standard-issue food-grade weevils, check that box of cornbread mix that's been sitting in the pantry for a while.

If you are looking for the garden root weevil, simply buy rare and costly species Primula or a new-to-the-trade, coveted Rhododendron. Plant with loving care in your garden, and tenderly cosset all summer. By the next spring, you should have a fine brood of weevils from which to start your colony.
