If you have an Xbox You can get on line with it, even with your free gamer tag, go into your account and there is a link to buy a recurring month to month or 3 months or a year. If you only want one month, cancel the account just before payment will be due again.

I don't think you can buy the Gold Cards that would give you the code to redeem since those need to be swiped at the register to even work.

So the option is on your xbox under your gamer tag, in the account management section. The live card only works for one gamer tag, To have more than one name with gold access you need different gold accounts. Hope that helps.
