  1. Some supermarkets have change machines. They count the money, deduct about 15% (not cheap) and give you a voucher which you change for cash at the check-out.

What I do is occassionally spend all the £2,£1,50p and 20p on petrol or something saving the 15% fee.

  2. Many banks now have the machines that you just throw it all in and it credits your account that day at no charge. I know large branches of HSBC do .

  3. just pay it into your bank account.

  4. Your bank will even provide you with the wraps to roll your change. Bank is my best bet and you may even met a nice teller.

  5. i use the coinstar machines located in the lobby of asda or sainsburys, u can tip all yr coins in then u can use the voucher for yr shopping or get cash for it from the customer services. they take about 7p out of every £1 commission but it beats having to bag it all up separately and in certain amounts to take to the bank.

  6. Small shops have to pay the banks to get change.  Ask them if they will give you full amount for yours.

Better than paying 10p in the pound to a supermarket machine.

  7. Ya bank mate :D there more than willing to do that for ya

    Hope that helps

  8. BANK :D its kinda embarrassing but ya the bank :D

  9. Many supermarkets have coin master machines. It counts your money and gives you a ticket which you take to customer services and they give you the cash. There is a small charge for the service. We have one in Sainsburys and Asda. It save counting and bagging the coins. My bank will not exchange them for cash you can only pay it into an account. Which is really daft as the money is immediately available and you can get it straight away from the cash point.

  10. You can either pay it into your bank account, or if you go to Sainsburys they have a coin changing machine! Its very loud, but quite fun to do!

    Good luck and keep saving!
