from what I understand it takes a different type engine for ethanol but for biodiesel, just change your air filter.

You can get a Government Rebate on converting ULP to LPG. It is $2,000 which will put you out by about $400. Check the Centrelink website.

It's impossible to convert a car on that budget. Unfortunately it's very expensive and will make you and your car smell like french fries. Check out www.greasecar.com for info but my advice is to build a hydrogen feul cell. All it is is DC going into the water (and yes, it's safe! It's AC or your house power that'll electricute you!) that separates the hydrogen from the oxygen formng a safe combustable gas, like oxygen is, and cleans your engine as well as the air as it burns saving you anywhere from 15-90% in gas!
