  1. Arizona State University or Bookman's bookstore

  2. Have you tried the public library?  Libraries have book sales and usually look for donations.

  3. Besides libraries, some temporary housing sites/shelters will take them.  A lot of non-profits host annual yard sales to support their cause so if there's something you support, see about donating to them to increase their profit for their cause.

  4. I work at a non profit and we have a big bin in the parking lot where people can drop things off they want to donate.  When a charity comes for it, it gets weighed and then we get a small percentage of the value donated to our agency.  if you want the address let me know and I can email it to you. (i don't like giving addresses out on here cause there are some psychos out there!)  oh, and our agency helps children in the tempe community  :)

  5. Look in to something called "Bookcrossing".

I think their web site is www.bookcrossing.com

It's a way of setting your books free.  You can find a place on their web site to print labels on avery label stock.

Then, take books to the bus station, airport, coffee shops, doctors offices etc.

It's a cool concept, I got a few books that way and have "released" about 140 so far.
