Where can i download a Panasonic Camcorder Universal driver for all models?

Question

I bough a camcorder a while ago and i lost the installation disk it had. When i try to connect it to my computer it wont read it. Can someone please send me a link to a website where i can download the driver directly. I tried a few but they have no link to download, it only says to download the driver detective c**p.

If there's a link to download it directly could you please help?

You might need a driver, but you probably need a firewire connection. Have you ever been able to download video from this camera?

If you have a mini dv (cassette) camcorder….

Your dv camcorder needs a firewire connection (ieee 1394) in order to download video, your PC probably did not come with a firewire port, so you will have to buy one and install it, since most computers (except possibly brand new) don't come with a firewire port, your camcorder did not come with a firewire cord so you have to purchase a cord too. Your camcorder did come with a USB cord and that is used for downloading stills from your camcorder.
