You can get an older camera, and modify it to take infrared pictures.  It's a different side of photography, and the pictures take longer to expose.  You'll need a tripod for it.

Otherwise, you can kind of emulate it in Photoshop.

There's no such thing as infrared software.  Infrared is a type of light.  You need a special camera (or a modified regular camera) to see it.

Infrared isn't something you download. It would be a mechanical part of the camera that can take pictures in the infrared wavelength.

You can't download infrared, you have to modify the camera, it has an infrared filter in it.  I don't recommend doing it unless the camera is either old or cheap as you could ruin it.
