Where can i download the latest update for Directx9?

I got to the microsoft website and all it has is the directx10... lol i need the latest for 9 because i got a game for my brother "The Sims pet storys" and it told me that i had to download the latest update for directx9 on the microsoft website the games only a year old -_-
