Where can i download the windows vista aero theme?

I have vista basic and cant seem to find the Windows aero theme. Please can someone tell where where I can download it.

  1. Vista basic does not include the Aero theme, and you cannot download it.

    The only way to get it is a third-party theme which requires patching system files which is in NO WAY a good idea, and I do not recommend it.


  2. The following editions of Windows Vista include Aero:

    • Windows Vista Business



    • Windows Vista Enterprise



    • Windows Vista Home Premium



    • Windows Vista Ultimate



    Aero is not included in Windows Vista Home Basic. You can find out which edition of Windows Vista you have on your computer by opening Welcome Center.
