i recommend limewire as its wicked! ive been using it 4 years and its really good!. you can download music straight to and from your PC or laptop or whatever and listen to it alll day and year! and you can also transfer the music onto your mobile phone or ipod/mp3/mp4 players.

limewire bittorrent kazaa .Airmp3.net bearshare Grooveshark. there are most likely a million more but the truth is that none of ir very few of the music websites can be free but at the same time legal. they call it pirated music or something.anyways its pretty much impossible to get free music and not be breaking the law. especially limewire. limewire is the most illegal so wat u should do is either buy the cd and then download the songs off the cd by uploading them onto the computer. or save money to buy them on places like itunes
