what software is good for editing pictures??dat i can download for free??bcoz i got one but it doesnt have alot of effects

I don't know about a free download, but there is a great site:

snipshot.com

that lets you do simple editing, color effects, and cropping all online.  It's very easy to use and user friendly.  Give it a try!
