Where can i exchange dollars for pesos at close to the market exchange rate?

i'm going to mexico next month, so i need to change $ into mexican pesos. according to yahoo finance, one dollar is worth approx 10.145 pesos. however, the best my bank will do is 9.15 pesos for a dollar. so any suggestions on where i could get a better deal? (maybe like 10 mxn per $).

it would help if you told us where you are. the best deals will be at the busiest border crossing areas because there is more competition. try tijuana.-blurey
