My grandfather passed away in February this year. My 5 yr old daughter and I found out a few weeks later when we went to visit him.

His sons hid his death from me and in the process cheated Grandpa's friend and I out of over $60,000! ... I have papers that should let me collect $40,000 of that but I can't find an affordable attorney.

I am to the point where I would hand somebody $50 if they could just refer me to the right person! (I would give them more if I had it - but I don't)

  1. Call your local bar association.

  2. Call one or more of the law schools in Texas and find out who the Professors are that teach the Probate Law classes.  One of them should be able to point you to one of their former students who might be inclined to help you, either pro bono or on contingency.  A Professor might also give you some information to help you or might even decide to make your case a "class project".
