  1. I haven't read many of these myself, but ...

Pieces by Stephen Chbosky (same author is usually a good start!)

    Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson

Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger

    Crank by Ellen Hopkins

    Cut by Patricia McCormick

    Good luck!

  2. I never read that book but my friend told me that the book is very unique.

She likes the other books by the same witer. I can't quite remember the name!

  3. What i suggest you do is go onto online book stores like Amazon.com or, indigo.ca and type in the name of the book. They usually have sections that say "People who bought this book also buy these books.." or "similar to" which then recommend a few books.

    http://www.amazon.com/Perks-Being-Wallfl...

  4. Read Youth in Revolt by C.D. Payne. It's a different sort of book but it has a lot of overlapping fans.
