  2. A WS-55809 has no bulb. Those are red green and blue CRTs (like picture tubes) and they cost a few hundred dollars. You cannot change it yourself because the geometry of your TV will have to be recalibrated from scratch after a CRT change.

    If your symptom is "no picture" then something else is likely wrong. Convergence amplifiers have become a bit of a problem and power supplies will show the same symptom.

    Mitsubishi's web site will give you a qualified servicer in your area. If you are in Los Angeles, Orange or Riverside Counties in CA, send me an email. I know who's good in the area.
