Where can i find a cheap guitar that's good?

I have a $70 dollar guitar. It's not the best. Dose anybody know where I could find a guitar thats good under $110. (P.S. it must be acoustic)

Check pawn shops, Craigslist, garage and yard sales and the classified ads in your local newspaper.  There are a lot of people out there who buy guitars, find out that its harder to learn than they expected, quit, and put their guitar up for sale.

If you buy a used guitar for that price you'll most likely get a better instrument than if you bought something new at Guitar Center or wherever.

I don't recommend buying guitars online.  its important to try out guitars before you buy them -- make sure they're comfortable to hold and play, and that you like the way they sound. And if you're buying a used instrument, you need to check it out in person to make sure its in good shape before you buy.

Well you can't really find a good quality acoustic guitar for under 110 but there are decent ones out there. I suggest going to Costco. Now I know it's not a real music store but they have guitars starting at 89.99 that come with a strap and picks and other accessories. Look here on line: http://www.costco.com/Common/Category.as...

I think costco would be your best bet because you can always take it back no matter what. So I say try it out. A good time to look for cheap guitars is around the holiday season (november-december). Stores usually put out guitars with lots of variety and for a great price.

Check on www.musiciansfriend.com and look at Yamaha's choices. Dont buy one from Walmart. They are badly made out of mega cheap materials and will be very hard to play.
