I'm learning to skateboard and can do all the basics, but I need to learn the drop in, rock to fakie, and grinds/lips. I hate going to the skatepark because i feel im being judged and need to find a durable, cheap ramp for my back yard.

ANY SUGGESTIONS???

  1. no matter what u do u are going to spend quite a bit a money like me i have a mini in my back yard but i found out it was cheaper to just build it its not hard i mean it was me and 4 other of my frineds and we did it from scratch that is what i would suggest just remember if u do built it u have to get skateply and not just plywood

  2. do not get a halfpipe. i suggest a quarter pipe or a mini ramp(which is like a mini halfpipe.)i built me quarter pipe and it cost me bout 100 dollars

  3. You could go to lowes or home depo and ask them to cut some wood for you and you can put one together or you could spend 125 on a factor x quater pipe at dicks sporting goods or you could go to ccs.com or skatewrehouse.com

OR you could choose what type of q-p you want like a element, alen workshop, basically any brand that makes the qp and go to there website.

GOOD LUCK HOPE THIS HELPD AND HOPE YOU FIND A GOOD CHEAP ONE

************FYI********* most of the mini ramps on ccs.com have plans to them so you can get plans for them if you want but a q-p isnt just 50-85 dollars there usually about 100 bucks

    ;)

  4. The Halfpipe Online Skateboard Shop

This is the skateboard section of the shop. You can find everything you need right here.

We stock a wide range of decks, trucks, wheels, bearings and anything else you need to skate. Need a new part? We probably have it. What are you waiting for?

Our shop is based in London, UK. Feel free to come and browse the vast array of skate goods.

  5. Yes don't get a pipe until you can do stuff in the skateparks, don't worry about other people they don't care everyone has to start somewhere and you don't get judged. Just go a few times and then you could get a half pipe, BUT my only suggestion is not to make one my friend tried that and its just a MAJOR waste of money if you can, buy. One last thing , you can get a quarter pipe at Skatewarehouse but they are pretty pricey but it will help you learn to drop in.
