Where can i find a cheap horse?

Question

i am a trainer looking to find a new horse. varrel racing and roping is what i do so a horse that may be good for that. any ideas on where to find one?

equine.com has any breed in any state! type in level of riding, gender, and breed, then when u search horses u can search prices, so type in a price range between like $500-$1,000, tons of horses will come up! from any state u'd like! there are many horse rescue places on that website where horses are free too!

Go to www.petfinders.com and search horses.You have to look around as some of them are not sound.There are some lovely horses on there though. Good luck.

Check at area horse rescue barns.  Horses there are usually cheaper than buying one.  Also, do a search online for off track quarter horses... you should be able to get one of those pretty cheap and they should be pretty fast since they were racehorses.
