  1. I have a purple TI-83+. It's great.  I bought it at Target.  It's a graphing calculator and does everything that the black TI-83s do, but it looks pretty doing it!

You're going to be hard pressed to find a good scientific calculator for cheap.  I suggest going on to amazon.com and look for a TI-83 from their used products section.  Keep in mind that most schools will require that you have a TI-83 or higher.  They are one of the few calculators that you are allowed to use on the SATs and ACT, so don't settle for another brand just because it's cheaper

  3. Our Wal-Mart had them in several colors.  My son got a bright orange one, and it was 10 dollars if I remember right.  They had green , pink too.
