Why?

I don't know if such a comprehensive list exists. The only way is to research all cities within each specific country. Then make your own list. First you have to define what a city is as oppose to towns, villages, and other unincorporated shanties. You can start with wikpedia: Cities of present-day nations and states

I don't think you will find an accurate list, because the definition of a 'city' is different in many countries.
