the deck im currently using is a Pioneer DEH-P47DH

the old deck is a double-din

where as the new is a single-din

meaning i need to buy something that will make my new deck fit properly in the bigger whole that the old one came out of

the question is where am i suppose to get one

ive looked around and cant find one for my truck

the guy at bestbuy sold me one for a 1999 chevy s-10...im prety sure he looked around in the back and just found something "close enough" and took my money

i have a 1999 chevy CK 1500 (chyan version, not silverado)

  1. Crutchfield or else buy a blank panel from a dealer and fabricate what you need.

  2. You can pick them up many places, eBay, Target, Crutchfield.com... If you go with Target they should run about $15 and that includes all the wiring and if it doesn't fit you can always return it. Crutchfield may be a bit more expensive after shipping but they have a nice return policy and amazing customer support. ebay as you know is hit or miss.

  3. WALMART!!!!

  4. have you ever heard of Wal mart they sell dashboard kits for all types of vehicles just look back in automotive section.

if you do not live near one go to the website and order one
