Where can i find a ductless range hood

most of the range hoods i see in stores are ducted. there is no way i can install a duct in my kitchen. where can i find a ductless range hood? what is a good brand?

  1. Home Centers carry them. They don't really accomplish much since they just suck air in and then push it back out. They do catch oil in the filters though. Most people who buy range hoods want smoke and smell to be taken outside the home.


  2. While some people get cracked up over the thought of a vent-less range hood, they are better than no hood at all. Most good vent-less hoods will have a grease filter to remove grease from  the steam that comes from frying and cooking. These filters are washable and help make cleaning easier. Usually this type of hood will have an optional charcoal filter to help with odor /smoke removal. These are replaceable. The heat from cooking will remain in the room. Look at your nearest HomeDepot/Lowes/Mennards/Sears...  Good Luck.

  3. I think they are worthless.

    The ones that crack me up are the ones that pull the air up and then blow it in your face while standing at the stove. LOLOLOL

  4. Check Lowes or Home Depot for a good selection.
