Where can i find a free trial of Kaspersky Internet Security 7?

Question

Because i can't install 2009 (it says AVG 8 is installed but i uninstalled it). Problem is, i can't find it anywhere. It was replaced on the Kaspersky site with the new one, and i can't find it on any 3rd party websites.

You have to  try to delete all the AVG files you can find or the same thing will happen with with what ever version of Kaspersky you try to install.

Try this> right click Start>click on Run>type in>Msconfig>hit OK or Enter>go to start up tab and delete all AVG files you see.

I dont think it would be possible to get 7 beacause in the update itwill just update to the new one like kaspersky does.

Have you deleted all the files AVG could have left over cleaned the registry?

No matter what version you have it will still detect avg, here are removal instructions:

This problem appears to afflict a lot of new comers to Kaspersky recently, please try running the avg removal tool, which can be downloaded from here:

Also you may want to try deleting some of your registry keys left behind by avg.

To access the registry, type regedit in the run command.

(for vista type it in search then hit enter)

Now navigate to and delete the following keys IF they exist:

*remember only delete the last part of it, do not delete the main key, just the things marked avg*

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Uninstall\ AVG8Uninstall

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVG

or it may be instead

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVG8

if you see any other entry's(keys) with avg, or avg8 or similar in them in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Uninstall\ your avg key name here

or

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ your avg key name here

DELETE THEM,

And lastly look in C:\Program Files and delete any avg folders you find.

Run a registry cleaner, ccleaner is good:http://www.ccleaner.com/download

Now restart your computer and start the installation of Kaspersky.
