Where can i find a good website that teaches you how to cook in a restaurant for free?

the best thing you can do is go to a local restaurant talk to the boss and tell him  you want to learn how to cook and will work a couple hours a day for free and you will learn alot and i mean alot

Miss Rhonda is correct, however you will find that if you want to move up in the industry and work in high end places, where the good money is, you will eventually have to shell out for school or at the very least work at a high end place for free.

i am not sure i understand your question.... you want to go to a cooking school to learn how to be a chef in a restaurant, but you dont want the expense of school right?  ok... the only thing i can tell you is to go to a restaurant chain such as a Applebee's, Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays...... and apply as a cook. they will teach you how to cook, and when you master one station, they will train you in the next station. and so on and so on... this is the only way i can think of to learn to cook and not pay the huge cost of chef school.....
