can i please have some help in where i can find a proper after school job besides babysitting and household chores?

umm. what are you interested in?

just go somewhere you might like and ask for a job maybe make a resume to take if they ask for one or just give it to them anyway.

go to a couple of places you like and hopefully one of them will say yes

In the summer there are HEAPS of places, so now's the perfect time to start putting in your resume.

You'll have a better chance with small businesses though (like market stalls, botiques, privately owned shops, etc), one's who don't do things 'by the book' as much as big companies (like maccas, coles, ect.)

If you're into hospitality; try cafes around the bay, norwood or other strips like that (... where-ever your area is) also try your local deli, second hand book-store, botique, bakery, whatever small businesses are around. Check out the yellow pages and phone around in the areas you're interested in.

Also, in the summer, orchards are always also looking for fruit-pickers too which might sound pretty lame, but it pays well...it's easy... you can get a tan... and you're always working with other young people- so it's acutally pretty fun.. just don't be shy in asking around for work cos they don't really advertise their vacancies much.

Just a hint to increase your chances of being hired underage... do a first-aid course, or spend some days volunteering so you have something solid to refer to in you'r resume.
