Where can i find a list of petrol stations and service stations that are open over the christmas period?

All supermarket ones will be open on  christmas eve till midnight and boxing day from 8 am.

ALL motorway services and  services { shown with a S in a diamond  or circle on maps} ( not petrol stations but service stations with food etc)  on A roads will be open christmas day.

Shell texaco Star and BP are open from 8am till 4 pm on Christmas day though some are open longer.

I had this problem a few years ago.

Motorway service areas are required, under the terms of their licence, to offer fuel for sale 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

Away from the motorways, you will be lucky to find one open. Most will close down by 9pm on Christmas Eve (many before that!) and will not open at all on Christmas Day. That said, in large urban areas you may find one entrepreneur open for part of Christmas Day (say noon to 6pm), although do not be surprised if the fuel is slightly more expensive! It really is a question of pot-luck!

If you are overseas, I couldn't tell you, but in the United States, most name brand truck stops (pilot, t/a, love's, petro, & flying J) will be opened.  Other than that, it becomes hit & miss for most fuel stops.  Many don't see the justification in being opened on Christmas Day or will be opened for limited hrs.  Go to yellowpages.com or check the local phone book & call ahead before setting out on your trip.  Merry Christmas!!

Most will be open. Without being prejudice, a lot of muslim-run stations are open because Eed has been and gone.
