Newspaper... check out the "living' or 'arts and entertainment' or whatever section and they should have a 'stage listing' of which productions are running. From there, you can maybe go check out a play and see what other theatres are in your area as well.

All you have to do is look really hard.I was looking for ones in my area and I came up with this document thing and it had a list of schools and theatre's in my area.I was so happy.I found one and it even has a summer camp for kids my age so all I have to do is see if I like the theatre from summer camp and then start sessions there.

If you're looking for a serious community theatre then you have to look hard.Like,if you want to get an agent and thinngs like that get a theatre that will help you with that.

The one I'm going to does different things each season like in the spring they help with audtions,agents,and resume writing and in the summer they make us get in groups and write our own plays then perform it at the end.

It really matters where you live though.Some places have less theatres than others or the one you want may be far away.
