  1. You can find them in the Susquehanna river near where I live.

  2. try going to this link:]

although i did read they are some up in california

  3. By rivers/lakes/ponds in countries/regions where they live in. For example here, in Southern Ontario, the Grand River (and Chippewa, I was told) is where one might find a River Otter. I was lucky to have seen them twice; even if I nearly fell off my bike when one decided to run right out in front of me on the trail!

Here is where you can find zoos that have otters in their collections:

  4. Quite common near many rivers and lakes in Europe, in Canada and probably in the USA too. Amphibious mammals, they eat mainly fish.

More info on Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otter

  5. It depends.  There are several varieties.

Otters live all over the earth...

  6. Usually Otter is in the water.

So around rivers, lakes and sea coasts.

They are like a big weasel that likes swimming a lot.

Think of a bigger huskier version of a ferret with webbed feet.

  7. Otter than the zoo? i dunno

  8. There are a few different types of otters. Try seeing if a local zoo or aquarium has an exhibit.

I've seen sea otters off the coast of California, and at a zoo.

  9. i agree with them, the otter in the island of palawan in the philippines i believe is easiest to find

  10. in or near the water
