  1. Oh ya, your question is making me nervous now that I look at your rather colorful, obvious name.  Beware.

  2. You probably have to go individual Railroad website.

    ( UP http://www.uprr.com/aboutup/maps/index.s...

    ( CSX https://www.csx.com/?fuseaction=general.... )

    (BNSF http://www.bnsf.com/tools/reference/divi... )

    ( Norfolk Southern http://www.nscorp.com/nscportal/nscorp/m...

    etc.

  3. try the train station they usaly have all the maps of the railroad lines

  4. Department of Home Security probably has them all on their website...

  5. google it, maybe you could try the key word that contains: railroad line, and USA

  6. Rand McNally is currently offering U.S. railroad atlas books by region only.  They are a bit spendy at $24 to $30 each and you will need to buy all 8 of them to get the trackage of the entire U.S. (active, abandoned, industrial and tourists lines included).  These books appear to be fairly current so if you are looking for recent information these are the books for you.

    Here is their URL:

    http://store.randmcnally.com/p2p/searchR...

Rand McNally used to publish an atlas specifically showing all the trackage of the U.S.A.  all in one book.  It shows the tracks in each state including track details of some of the larger cities.  It also indicates the railroad that owns each route, the city and state of each railroad headquarters, the amount of trackage each RR has and the states they served including other facts such as reporting marks, services available, etc...  The one I have was published in 1967.

So if you want up to date track info you can buy the atlas book currently offered by Rand, or look for the older atlas of the entire U.S. on Ebay or railroad shows.
