Guitar Center has a great selection, good staff, and good prices.  Another option is to try out several guitars at GC and look for deals online from places like Musician's Friend and Zzounds.  All links are below.

Go with Guitar Center.

I've never had any problems or complaints in any of the ones I have been in.

There is one by Diversey and Halstead and the guys in there are so helpful and friendly.
