  1. You could probably get one at a decent knife/sword shop that looks the part and is right for what it's meant to do and then but a sharpening kit to sharpen it yourself.

The sword doesn't only have to be sharp to begin with, it needs to be sharp to do what you need it to do as a blunter sword won't work as well - so it's a really good idea to either get a sharpening kit or find someone who can sharpen it for you.

If you can't find a sword which looks the part try getting it custom made - and then get it sharpened - if you get it made overseas or interstate they probably won't be able to ship it too sharp for safety reasons - make sure you get a scabboard for it aswell

  2. A lot of knife specialty stores will also carry swords. They usually sell them dull, but I'm sure that for a fee you can have them sharpen the sword for you.

  3. Albion armory ( http://www.albion-swords.com/armor/merce... is the hands down best place to purchase what you are looking for.  They make a wide variety of high quality swords and armor.  I've purchased several from them over the years and they are far superior to anything you can buy at the mall.
