Where can i find a site with all the different types of guitars and there sounds?

i've been looking on youtube but is there a site that has all the different kinds of sound naturally made by the different styles of electric guitar? or is there a guide to this so i can get the soudn i want or near it since there's a sale at the guitar center near me

  1. Check the credits on the CD cover of your favorite bands and see what guitars they play. You should get an idea of the sound from that. Check what amps they use too.


  2. Why don't you just go to Guitar Center and play them all?  That's the only way to shop for one, anyway, is by playing them.

    Besides, it's the amp that makes the most difference in the sound.
