  1. go to ebscohost

  2. Found on EBSCOhost and ProQuest, cited in MLA format:

Fiamengo, Janice. "A Legacy of Ambivalence: Responses to Nellie McClung." Journal of Canadian Studies 34 (2000): 70-88.

Blenkhorn, Deborah. "Roots of feminism?" Canadian Literature 136 (1993): 77-78.

Warne, Randi. "Literature as pulpit: The Christian social activism of Nellie McClung." Canadian Literature 149 (1996): 134.

Hallett, Mary, and Marilyn Davis. "Firing the heather: The life and times of Nellie McClung." The Canadian Historical Review 76 (1995): 276

Hancock, Carol. "No Small Legacy: Canada's Nellie McClung Blazing a Trail for Faith and Justice." Resources for Feminist Research 18 (1989): 36.

  3. I dunno but seriously, why would you want to?

  4. Hallett and Davis (as mentioned by Rio) also have a book called "Firing the Heather" which is a biography of McClung.  You might also try the "Oxford Companion to Canadian Literature," which has short overviews of Canadian writers and provides excellent reference material.  The academic journal,  "Essays in Canadian Writing" would also be useful.  I would also go out of the literary realm and check out journals in Canadian women's history as McClung's political involvement leaves more of a legacy than does her fiction.
