Where can i find an auto body class?

okay, i want to take a class (alot of them) on repairing carsl. I live in NJ and i'm 13. I know i can do it, but i can't seem to find a place that teaches at all!! so does any one have any idea where i can get some classes. Oh and by the way, i had a teacher that offered to teahc me but now he's not doing it so i can't do that. BUMMER!!!! So hope you can help!!!THANKS!!!

first let me say it's great you are thinking about your future.  My husband is an auto body technician.  At his shop they hire helpers and give them on the job training.  That' s how he got started.  In a few years you could check into this, or contact a Vo-tech school.  That's the kind of school that offers those classes here. Talk to your high school counsler. I remeber whey I was in high school they offered a class in auto. I am surprised that they don't offer it in all states.

In our area, auto repair is taught at one of the community colleges. Try askink someone in the service department of a local car dealership if there's such a program in your area. The program at our local college was funded by an car dealers' association.
