I am going there for june and i am planning a lot of sight seeings like CN tower and royal Ontario musium. I guess taxi fares would be rather high so i am going to explore the city by bus! The problem is that i don't know which bus lines to take to get to different parts of the city. For instance i need to find out which bus takes me from viarail's kingston station to pearson airport. Can you help me out?

  2. in this country England ,i would go on line to the local bus station and download their time tables . Get in touch with Toronto Tourist board or whatever its called in Canada. They will have all the info you want or need

  3. Getting around downtown Toronto is fairly easy. There is a subway which will be useful but to be honest most of the things you'd want to see are actually close enough that you could walk it. Toronto downtown is not that big.

Pearson airport is actually in Mississauga. From downtown a taxi would be $60. I've heard you can get flat rates for $40 but I've always been too embarrassed to ask. There is also a shuttle bus that hits a lot of the downtown hotels and takes people to the airport. No idea on the cost but will be under $20. http://www.torontoairportexpress.com/

Not sure how Via Rail Kingston fits into the scenario but to get from Kingston to the airport you need to first take the VIA train to Union Station Toronto which is about 200km. At the point the easiest thing to do is take the shuttle from the Royal York Hotel stop. The Royal York is directly across the street from Union Station.

If you give more information it might be easier to answer as I don't know how you end up in Kingston and where you are trying to get to in Toronto.
