Look in your phone book under stables and start calling or go to your local feed or tack store there are usually flyers posted of stables who give lessons and what their speciality is.  If that doesn't work call the vets and farriers in your area, they'll know the local horse professionals and who teaches lessons in the area.  Good Luck
