Where can i find big curtains?

I have a bay window and the measurements are 322cm or 127 inches(width) and 180 cm or 71 inches (drop).

I want kinda natural ones or mocha ideally to go with the room.

I think i'll have to have them custom made but we have only just moved in and haven't got a huge budget.

I could buy fabric and make them but i'm not too good on a sewing machine and haven't really got the time!

Any suggestions please?

Thanks in advance!

  1. either make them or be prepared to give a weeks wages away ie.£100 material-£380 to get them made

  2. I was surprised to see window treatments at Lowe's but it seems to me that if they carry them, they would have larger sizes available at their stores.

  3. www.target.com has fairly good selection for a decent price. The prices vary but they have their own "Casual Home" brand that is pretty decent. I have purchased curtains there that are 85 inches long and 65 inches wide. For about 30.00 dollars you can get two panels from their home brand and double them up so you can cover your window for about 60.00 dollars (depending of course what you buy).

Depending on your budget of course you could also buy the curtain rod from Target as well but I bought a dowel from home depot, sanded it and painted it and it looks great.
