  1. Try  www.BROL.com.  They are a consolidator specializing  in travel from the U. S. to Brazil.  Be aware that airfare increases if you travel after November 30th.

  2. Christmas is high season in Brazil, and it´s less likely to find cheap prices in anything related to tourism.

You will have more luck to find cheap prices if coming in May.

  3. Tap Portugal

  4. Depends where you are flying from, the departure date and when you buy the ticket. Larger cities in the US or Canada have cheaper fares but the key is to buy early, and to be flexible with your dates.

To give you an example, I bought a ticket Vancouver to Sao Paulo for $970 (6 months in advance) for Sept 13-Nov 13. That same ticket is now selling for over $3,000 as we approach the departure date.

Christmas, New Years and Carnaval (Feb-March) are HIGH, HIGH, HIGH season. April to June and Sept to Nov are low season. But if you buy early you can find cheap tickets in there, once I got a ticket for January for just $1,000 (from Vancouver, and that's cheap!). So my advice is to research on the net, talk to a travel agent and buy when you find a good price because it won't last long!

  6. Where are you flying from ?      I looked into tickets last X-mas from New Orleans.. and they ran about $1200.     This was from New Orleans to Miami to Sao Paulo.      any other time of year I pay around $700.
