Where can i find cheap food on Neopets?

I wanna save some money on Neopets and my pets are dying. What is the food that is normally sold cheapest in peoples shops? somewhere from 0-500np?

This doesn't exactly answer you question (about cheap food), but it's an easier way/cheaper (overall) to keep your pet from "dying".

Why don't you let your pets take a "vacation" at the Neolodge! For 140NP (Cockroach Towers, No add-ons, 28 nights) your pet will be bloated for 28 Days. You won't have to do anything.

Just spend 140 on each pet, and you'll be fine. :)

If you really want, you can make your pet's stay "glamorous" by giving them the best hotel and all the extras, but that just add's NP.
