Where can i find cheap or free mid density fiber board (mdf) for a vented enclosure?

this is my first box i have the plans all ready and the box is built i just have to finish up the inside curves cover where the sub goes

  1. home depot also sells 2x4 sheets. they are like 7.50 a sheet. the full sheet is 24.86 also if you have a truck or can borrow one. go ahead and buy the hole sheet. you may want to build something else and it would just be a waist of fuel to make 2 trips.


  2. home depot sells mdf as small as 4' X4' pieces

  3. could probably get some small mdf from the local wood shop for free.

    but the cheapest will be home depot and lowes. but as far as i remember... they do not sell small pieces. they can cut the board into pieces... but you will still end up having to pay for the whole board which sucks for small projects.
