Practical knowledge is always better. Hence I recommend you to pay an visit to Mumbai Stock Exchange. Please go well ahead of commencement of morning session. Stay there till evening. Check your self how the trading will be done there. Verify how the SENSEX moves up and down every minute. During the rest, discuss with some share brokers, buy some important informative books.

By end of the day you will learn most of the basic knowledge. Then start visiting related web sites.
