  1. Try http://www.YouTube.com :)

  2. If it is just motorcycle 'crashes' you want to see, try Duke Video, at www.dukevideo.com.  I think you will find that they have a comprehensive library, including 'Mayhem'-type videos of motor and motorcycle crashes, some very spectacular, some bizarre.

To my knowledge, videos of fatal TT accidents are not commercially available.  Such evidence would probably be used only for Police investigations or Coroner's Inquest purposes.  Public showing of such fatal incidents, could be illegal, would certainly be considered insensitive, even offensive, that may well cause distress to bereaved relatives.  .Please do not seek, procure or supply any such material.

You should find that Duke Video has lots of spectacular non-fatal crashes to satisfy the most discerning client.

As for the 'Dangerous' nature of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy motorcycle Road Races.  Because the TT course is a long one, (nearly 38 miles long), and a considerable number of practice laps are covered, and there is a large number of entries and the races themselves, can be over 200 miles long, incidents per 'racing mile' are low compared with other races on closed road circuits, including short road circuits.  Track racing is another matter.

Motorcycle racing is known to be a 'risk' sport, fuelled as much by adrenalin as by petrol and commercial interests.

But go and see the unique TT for yourself.  You too, may find I that nowhere on this planet can motorcyclists indulge in such a festival of the sport as in the beautiful Isle of Man in late May, early June when the Island is at its most lovely.  Agreed, there is the tragic side to the racing.  It causes me deep sadness to know that some brave young men do die.  Also, it is such a waste of human endeavour when the perfection of a beautifully tuned, equipped and turned out racing mororcycle is reduced to a mangled wreck in milliseconds.  But motorcycles can be replaced.  Fatalities cannot.  They know the risk.  It is to this sport that they become addicted, not safer activities like croquet, snooker or badminton.

But if you missed the TT this Centenary Year, there is the Manx Grand Prix at the end of August.

  3. Normally i would thumb down a SHlTE answer like the one above, but today, it seems ok.

Your only other chance of a good look at the Manx is to wait untill Duke do there DVD. Them Lads do a great job every year.
