well you can always download a lot of free music from myspace profiles, but with the big name bands you have to buy them. you can do a lot of trial periods of free music on sites like rhapsody and napster. of course, you can always just do a google search of free downloadable music, you're sure to get a few sites. :]

I used to use all those cheap free sites, But I don't find all of what I want and the download speed is usually pretty slow.

The site that I use is UltimateMP3Download.com it doesn't cost too much and it's way more effective.
