pokerstars gave me 5 bucks for nothing after i made 3 mil in play money. i turned that 5 into 600+.

Hollywood Poker dot com is a good place for freerolls... usually small amount of people sit at the tables, but like any free roll you work your way up from free -> .25 -> .50 -> 1.00  den' 1000.00 bronzefree roll...

You have to hit at least top twenty for each roll ... becareful with .25/.50/1.00 rolls (don't sign up if there isn't over fourty ppl., with 40 ppl., the pay outs are with cash... plus ticket for next roll...etc.,

As far as prizes or payouts, most of them are the same in which they have thousands of people and usually just the final tables pay. You have to sit through all those donks playing crazy because its a freeroll. And try and stick it out to the end with little payouts.

In my opinion these are the best sites for US players for playing freerolls....

1. Ultimate Bet- This site is slow to start out but makes up for it after the first few minutes. They have a freeroll that runs usually every hour. Haven't found another one that comes close to 1 an hour with decent structure. These tournys top out at 5000 people. Other sites can top out at 10,000 +. They give you a freeroll entry to another tournament if you get top 30 and pay out a little cash for top 20. First place is usually $9 - $30. Made money in first 3 days on this site and already up to $19 in about a month just from freerolls. They also have .50 cent sit and go's so when you make a little money you can try some of these instead of going right to the $1 tables.

2.Poker.com- You can find this through carbonpoker.com. Now this site only has 4 freerolls a day, the main perk here is they top out at 1500 people. And are usually done in less than 3 hours. Freerolls on other large sites can last up to 7 hours +. This is also the funnest site I've played, They have these smiley faces you can use to make expressions that make the game very fun. It took a while, but through freerolls only at this site to start, I'm up to over $140 in about a year.

3.Pokerstars- This site has some good freerolls but are very large and pay out very little. Alot of them are turbos too which means they are raising the blinds every 5 minutes and that just makes them even crazier.

PokerStars a currently running tournaments every hour, and you can enter once a week.  The prize is a $12,000 WSOP package.  Not bad for a freeroll.
