Where can i find good restraurants in the city - melbourne ?

I am currnetly doing a research task, it would be a great help for me if anyone can name a few streets/ restraurants :)

so i can walk along and take note of the cost/ price, stars, service, variety of food etc.

umm take a trip to docklands, any number of them there. I would suggest a trip to jamie olivers restaurant, cuz its got public eye sorta thing. (but its gone) idk

Swan St in Richmond, very multicultural great Greek tavernas and not a touristy as Lygon st. Also Swanston St towards China town wonderful Vietnamese and noodle shops

great places that you can walk around and check out the menus are defintly crown, lygon

do you want a variety of places, like not just upper class restaurants? because then you should check out victoria st in richmond aswell

Go to Lygon St and try Ti Amo, almost opposite to the Nova cinema. It is one of the best and cheapest places to buy excellent Italian food in Melbourne. At the other end of the spectrum, try the European in Spring St. Very, very good food, pretty expensive. There are a whole lot of restaurants in Lygon St by the way, just about every type of cuisine you could imagine.
