  1. Check into you local WIC program.

  2. I went through a nasty abusive divorce and found myself to be a single mom of 3 boys. I had been a stay at home mom so I didn't know where to go. I ended up applying through the local Social Services. They usually have a website and on-line applications.

You can also check with a local head-start program. I enrolled my son in this when he was 4 and I also received financial assistance from the state. It ended up costing me about $25 a week. Head-start is an awesome program and I have heard children who go through the program end up doing very well in school. My 4 year old already knew how to spell/write his name very neatly in his first few months. My two older boys were in school at the time.

  3. If you are single, apply through you local social services.

  4. If you are from Australia, and your child goes to a government known child care and not private. Then you get a percentage paid by the government, depending on the amount earned by you or your partner. If you are a pension/health care card holder then most of the time they pay 100% of that amount. They do not pay for travel costs or food or the admin costs that you may be charged by the centre. But that usually is affordable anyhow. If from Aus then ring up centrelink and they will help you and give you more info on this.

However if your from overseas Im sure you would have a family funding system by the government, just ring up and ask. If not go and see your local welfare agency, like a church group or something like that to help you.

  5. First off WIC is only for food so don't deal with them. Check out the whoever deals with foodstamps, cash assistance, and health insurance. They will be the same department that will have child care assistance.

  6. if u are single, pay it with social  security!!if not tell somebody pay it!!!

  7. CCRN  stands for Child Care Resource Network should be availiable through your local HEalth Department...look into it!
