  1. Andy,

    I have a couple good resources.  You can look at Childcare Avenue for their listings (see below in sources), but Arizona actually has a really nice listing on their Division of Licensing Services page.  I've included the link to that page as well as a link to the specific pdf file listing the childcare centers and home care daycares in the sources section below.  You will need to select the "Childcare Small Group Home" option from the table of contents in the pdf or scroll to the bottom list in the file.  Good luck!


  2. I don't find an at home day care diserable unless the provider is licensed and has hired licensed help and a schedule and rooms especially for her business.  I would be dropping by unexpectedly and watch for again regular programed activities. Do check yourself the play area outside.

  3. Go to http://www.childcarecentral.com

    You can type in your zip code and search for either home daycares, daycare centers, or both.

    You will get a list of daycare homes in your area and then you can start calling them, visit the ones you're most interested in, and choose one for your child.
