  1. The CIAs factbook is usually a very good resource

for information like that. And it's quite accurate and

    relatively up to date.

  2. cia.gov has info on every country in the world, very informative.

  3. Here it goes:

  4. http://www.tatsachen-ueber-deutschland.d...

It sounds as if it is only in German but it isn't. The site is government run so I guess info is quite reliable.

  5. Try this URL: http://www.deutsche-welle.de/

This is the home site of the State-run DW television.  There is a lot of good information on the site about the economics and culture in Germany.  It edited and run by German nationals but the site is in several languages, including English and German.

    Goood Luck

  6. HI,

    this one may help you.

    http://www.deutschland.de/home.php?lang=...

I admit that it is not easy to navigate through it,

but i think if you don´t get confused because of all that links  you´ll find what you are looking for.
